Kursziele

This course covers Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) using Hibernate, a popular open-source JDBC persistence framework. Hibernate transparently and efficiently handles the persistence of plain Java objects to many popular database vendors. Students will learn many techniques for mapping existing relational data to object models, while preserving encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism. Students will also learn how to install and configure Hibernate for development with BEA WebLogic Workshop and Studio BEA WebLogic Server 9.1.
